UPI / RuPay Credit Cards Compared (2026)

Quick answer UPI-on-credit cards let you pay merchants via UPI using a RuPay credit line. The four cards we review — Kiwi RuPay, Jupiter Edge+, Roarbank RuPay, and YES POP-CLUB — differ in earn mechanics (flat UPI cashback vs brand-capped vs category-pick), annual fees, lounge access, and app lock-in. This hub compares them side by side with fees verified against issuer MITCs. Pick one primary UPI credit card — juggling multiple apps rarely pays off.

All four cards are RuPay credit lines for UPI — rewards are earned inside the issuer/fintech app (Kiwi, Jupiter, Roarbank, POP Club). Linking the same RuPay card to PhonePe, GPay, or PayTM typically earns no accelerated rewards per co-brand terms. Small-merchant offline UPI (under ₹2,000) may be excluded on some programmes — confirm MITC.

FAQ

What is a UPI credit card? A RuPay credit line you can use to pay merchants via UPI — the credit is routed through the issuer’s app (Kiwi, Jupiter, Roarbank, POP Club). Rewards are typically locked to that app’s UPI flow.

Can I use a UPI credit card on PhonePe / GPay / PayTM? The RuPay card may link, but accelerated earn usually requires the issuer app per co-brand terms. Flat base earn (e.g., 1%) might work elsewhere — confirm MITC.

Which UPI credit card has lounge access? Only Kiwi RuPay offers it, and only via paid Kiwi Neon (~₹999/year) at eligible spend milestones (₹50k / ₹1L / ₹1.5L annual Kiwi spends). Jupiter, Roarbank, and POP-CLUB have no lounge benefit.

Which UPI credit card is best for new-to-credit? Roarbank explicitly markets starter limits without prior credit history. Kiwi, Jupiter, and POP-CLUB follow standard bank KYC/income assessment.
