Editorial Policy
Last updated: May 2026
This page explains how we create, review, and update content on credit.letsthinkwise.com. Our goal is to publish accurate, useful, and trustworthy financial information.
Editorial Independence
Affiliate commissions do not influence our rankings, ratings, or recommendations. Our editorial decisions are made independently of our commercial relationships. The products we choose to review, the order in which they appear, and the ratings we assign are determined solely by our editorial team based on research and analysis. For details on our affiliate partnerships, see our Affiliate Disclosure.
Content Creation Process
Our research process starts with official sources:
- Bank and NBFC websites for fee schedules, interest rates, and product specifications
- Official terms and conditions PDFs and Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC) documents
- RBI circulars and regulatory guidelines where applicable
- Cross-referencing with user reports and public forums for real-world experience data

Review Process
Every “best” list and comparison page on our site follows a defined methodology. Our review process includes:
- Verification of fee data and product features against official issuer sources
- Consistent evaluation criteria applied across all products in a category
- Clear disclosure of evaluation methodology on each comparison page
For a detailed breakdown of our evaluation criteria, see our Review Methodology.
Content Updates
- Hub pages (category overviews, “best of” lists) are reviewed monthly for fee and reward changes.
- Full rewrites are performed quarterly or whenever a bank significantly changes its product terms.
- Every page displays a visible “Last updated” date so you know when the information was last verified.
Sources and Citations
We cite issuing banks and RBI publications where applicable. Data points that cannot be verified from official sources are flagged as estimates or removed entirely. We do not publish unverified claims as factual information.
What We Don’t Do
- We don’t publish buy/sell recommendations for any financial instrument.
- We don’t provide personalised financial advice.
- We don’t guarantee approval for any financial product.
- We don’t accept payment for favourable reviews or rankings.
